There's a Place for You!
Welcome to Archbishop Murphy High School! We are pleased by your interest in our school and are eager to help you in any way we can to make the application process as easy as possible. The choice of a high school is one of the most important decisions you will make, and we would like to have the opportunity to show you why Archbishop Murphy is the choice of growing numbers of families in the North Sound.

Why should you consider Archbishop Murphy? Because here you will find an exceptional academic program within the framework of Catholic faith and values. What makes AMHS unique is its commitment to academic excellence and spiritual growth in a welcoming and caring community that recognizes the individual gifts that each student brings to the Archbishop Murphy experience. Every young man and woman in our school is special and is provided every opportunity to develop the talents that she or he has. The result is a vibrant, exciting community that recognizes and nurtures individuality while supporting each student in a caring community atmosphere. Simply put, there is a place for you at Archbishop Murphy.

I would invite you to get to know Archbishop Murphy High School. As part of your decision making process, please make an appointment with our Registrar, Mary Thompson, to have your prospective student spend the day at Archbishop Murphy and experience first hand our classes and activities. Let them meet our excellent and dedicated faculty and staff. I am sure that such a visit will show you why we are so proud of what we do here in the service of teaching and forming young men and women.

The Mission Statement of Archbishop Murphy High School says that our ministry is “Inspiring and developing Christian leaders.” This is a commitment that we take very seriously and joyfully. Let me extend to you my personal invitation to become a part of living this Mission every day at AMHS. We welcome you to our community.
